Well, its been a while since I have had time to post anything here. Been super busy at Jimmy Beans what with receiving close to 30 boxes full of yarn for our bag sale this weekend, teaching classes, trying to finish up a couple of long overdue projects... well, you get the idea, the list goes on. But things are good. I finished my first sweater, and it turned out wonderful. You can view it at my projects, the eyelet turtleneck.
I still have a few more projects to finish, as well as I need to start the projects I have in mind for all the yarn I have bought lately. :-) You know how it is.
My classes are going really well. Last week I started a Crochet class, and all the students really get it. In fact Jeanie, brought in just the other day the front of a beach bag she had started on (this girl had never crocheted in her life and after 1 class is starting stuff !!) Amazing!! :-) The others are getting it too. This week I started new series of Knitting 101 and Knitting 102.
The weather up here has been absolutely gorgeous. Right now I am sitting in the morning sun streaming through the front window. Temps in the 60's, clear, sunny days...makes me want to dread March. :-/

...for January anyway. The last few days have been gorgeous, clear skies, decently warm in the sunshine. Almost spring-like, which leads me to dread the next couple of months which will most likely be horrendous. Oh, well, more time for knitting!! :-)
I finished the hat for my dad, in fact finished it twice since the first edition was way too big. The 2nd edition fits perfectly, and he loved it. The next thing I will be making will be a striped throw in navy and red Jaeger Shetland Aran. The red will be cables and the blue will be alternating ribbing. This will also be for my father, as he will be going through some intensive chemo in the next few months.
This last weekend I finished 3 hats all together, 1 in Jaeger Cashair, 1 in GGH Big Baby, and the 2nd edition hat for my dad. I feel like I accomplished a lot. :-) I also worked some more on my Chamonix turtleneck sweater - almost finished now. I can't wait to see it!
