Knit, knit, knit...

Well, I haven't been around the blog thing for quite a bit, because I have been so busy! I am now working 5 days a week, and riding the bike (Mariah, my beautiful Harley) as much as possible. Of course there is knitting! I am working on several projects at once, which, of course is such a surprise, ha ha!! Of course there are socks, a Rowan Big Wool sweater (French Girl Dessire), a project for Jimmy, Malibrigo lace weight cabled scarf, and a beautiful Malibrigo Lace shawl! Phew!! No wonder I'm so tired, and getting a cold. Acckkkk! I will try to get some pics up soon. Happy Knitting!

Fiber Obsession

I am completely obsessed with fiber. I think of knitting allllllllllllll the time. I am currently working on a lace shawl for a friend that bought some garage sale yarn for me and I thought I would work it up and give it to her to wear. It is a kid mohair, with nylon, and linen. I was so taken aback that she thought of me on her garage sale travels. At any rate this should be done real soon and I will be starting  a hat for the fair made from my own homespun alpaca and romney mix yarn.

Knitting now Crocheting UGH!!

Talk about being crazy!! I took Hannah's wonderful crocheting class and well now when I look at the world around me I see how it could be knitted and crocheted!!! Oh my gosh, as if I am not obsessed enough. If anyone has a pattern that incorporated both knitting and crochet I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks!!
