My cousin is preganate with her first child, and is planing to be married after the baby is born. Anyway, The theme is pokadots and I have searched the web looking for a knit pokadot anything and just can't find anything. So I am working on a sweater/hoodie thing and am going to sew on the pokadots so that they look like the actual stitches. I think that it will look really pretty and she will like the sweater/hoodie thingy. I also knit a doll that the baby can play with when she gets older. After the baby is born, I think that I will post a picture of the baby. Hopefully in the outfit that I am knitting. One other thing, the baby is due in October!!!
I own an 8 inch doll and trying to find clothing for it is just about impossible. After about a month of searching I discovered that beanie baby clothing fits very well. All though I have to figure out how to knit the hats, all is working out very well. The dolls booties are so tiny that there is no room for shaping. I have to thread a string through each bootie so that they stay on the dolls feet. Currently I have knit a total of 6 diapers just tonight. The shirt is sooooo easy that I can knit 34 every day while knitting the booties,diapers,and hats. Hopefully everyone will have an awesome 4th of July. I know that I will. Good luck to everyone with all of their knitting projects. Because I know that I am behind in all of my knitting projects. I have at least 3 hiding in the closet waiting to be finished.
